By using ElectricityRateMap.com (the “Site”), operated by Digital Dynamics Kft., Hungary (the “Operator”), you accept these terms.

1. Averages, not offers

The Site shows average prices derived from data utilities report to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. They are not tariffs, quotes or offers, and they do not predict your bill. The Site does not sell electricity, rank providers for you or give financial advice.

2. Accuracy

Data is provided “as is”. EIA monthly figures are preliminary and revised later; ZIP-to-utility matches can be incomplete. Corrections: info@digitaldynamics.hu.

3. No affiliation

The Site is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the EIA, NREL, any public utility commission or any utility or retail supplier named on it. Names identify the public records only.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any damage arising from use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Site. The Site is free; where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid (zero). Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for intentional or grossly negligent conduct or harm to life, body or health.

6. Intellectual property and automated access

The Site’s design, code, texts and compilations are protected by copyright and, where applicable, the EU database right. The CSV download may be reused under CC BY 4.0 with credit. Search engines and AI assistants may crawl and quote the Site under our robots.txt; otherwise no systematic extraction without permission.

Averages, not a quote. Prices here are what each utility’s residential customers paid on average (revenue ÷ kWh sold, fixed charges included), as reported to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Your own rate depends on your plan, season and usage — check your bill or your utility’s tariff.
